Configuring a process type
Prerequisite
- Access to the Configuration > Classification > Process type (PM032) menu.
Introduction
Process types are used to classify and organize the processes created in SoftExpert Process, allowing them to be structured according to criteria defined by the organization.
This classification contributes to the standardization, segmentation, and better management of the processes modeled in the system.
As an example, this article will demonstrate the configuration of a type that will be used to create purchase request processes.
The type will have the default configuration of the system, which has public security control for all internal users and simplified revision control.
